Cookie Policy

Current cookie and local storage use in LatencySentry. Last updated July 3, 2026.

Current approach

LatencySentry currently uses cookies and browser storage mainly for essential authentication, session security, checkout flow continuity, and product operation. These are required for signed-in access and core service functionality.

Authentication and security

Clerk may set authentication and security cookies so users can sign in, keep sessions active, and protect account access. These cookies are essential for the service.

Checkout and preferences

LatencySentry may preserve redirect, selected plan, billing interval, or promotional-code state during sign-up and checkout handoff. This is used to complete the intended user flow, not for behavioral advertising.

Analytics and marketing cookies

Non-essential analytics or marketing cookies are not part of the core product flow today. If we add them later, we should update this policy and add consent handling where required.
