Terms of Service

Customer-facing terms for LatencySentry. Last updated July 3, 2026.

Operator and acceptance

LatencySentry is operated by Northshore Labs LTD, 19 Mestnost Manastirski Rid, Veselina Tsankova str., Varna, Bulgaria. UIC/BULSTAT: 208665242. VAT ID: BG208665242. By creating an account, using the service, or starting a paid subscription, you agree to these terms.

Service scope

LatencySentry is a hosted endpoint-monitoring service for HTTP-based checks, alerting, uptime history, latency history, and related operational views. Features, limits, retention, and pricing may vary by plan and may change as the product evolves.

Monitoring limitations

LatencySentry is not an emergency, safety-critical, or sole-source monitoring system. Checks may be delayed, false positives may occur, failures may be missed, and third-party network or hosting issues may affect results. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, no production SLA, uptime guarantee, or service-credit policy is offered.

Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for the endpoints, URLs, credentials, and operational data you add. You must only monitor systems you own or are authorized to monitor. You must not use LatencySentry for scanning, denial-of-service activity, credential harvesting, abusive traffic, illegal activity, or interference with third-party systems.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities that occur through your account. We may suspend or restrict access if we believe the service is being misused, if required by law, or if continued access creates operational or security risk.

Plans, limits, and billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe where self-serve checkout is available. Plans may include monitor limits, check-frequency limits, retention limits, alerting features, API limits, and fair-use restrictions. Subscription charges renew automatically until cancelled. The billing policy explains cancellations, refunds, failed payments, taxes, and plan changes.

Intellectual property

Northshore Labs owns LatencySentry, including the software, interface, branding, and documentation. You retain ownership of your monitor configuration, endpoint data, and customer content. You grant us the rights needed to operate, secure, and support the service.

Changes, suspension, and termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, especially during early product development. You may stop using the service or cancel a paid subscription according to the billing policy. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, security risk, non-payment, legal requirement, or material breach of these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, LatencySentry is provided as-is and as-available. We disclaim warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free results, and fitness for a particular purpose. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, unless mandatory consumer or local law requires otherwise.
